Building owners hire us really for our fundamentally different approach. What tends to happen for our clients, and I think, for most building owners, that they discover a problem, either a construction problem, or an insurance problem, is they realize that they've got a problem, and they need money to fix it. And so oftentimes what they do, which is a good idea, is they talk to maybe different public adjusters, or lawyers, or different folks in this industry. And really, what they learn through that is that almost everybody is focused on two things.

One, they're focused on what needs to get done to fix the problem, and then two, they're focused on how much it's going to cost. to perform that fix. And where I think that our clients see us differently, is that, of course, those two things are necessary. You need the evidence of how much of what needs to get done to fix it and also how much it's going to cost to do that. But really, where our clients find us to be different, is that we spend about, you know, the vast majority of our time focused on actually the decision making process in order to get that money.

So, in order to get the money, just knowing how much is, you know, what needs to get done to fix it and knowing how much it's gonna cost, that is necessary but not sufficient. And that there, you have to understand who controls the money and what are their incentives. So generally, in our, uh, in the claims that we handle, the, the payer for these claims is the insurance company. It's either the building owner's insurance company or the construction company that worked on the building, their insurance company.

And so, you really have to understand what are the incentive structures within the insurance company itself. and then understand how can you use those incentive structures of the people inside the insurance company in order to help them help you. And so we've got a very sophisticated way to do that. But in sum, what we really are doing is we're looking at every incentive that they have, you know, whether or not they're interested in promotions, whether or not they're interested in not getting laid off, what they're concerned about, as far as claims audits are concerned. And all of those sorts of things.

Um, and there's really, you know, almost a thousand other, uh, issues involved and it's pretty, um, detailed. But we're really looking at that, and really looking at it, I think, as a system, and understanding how the system works. And then what we do is we try to develop evidence, um, in order to, to persuade those decision makers, that doing what's good for us is actually good for their own careers as well. And so I think through that, we're able to deliver better results for our clients.

And I think that's primarily the reason that people hire us is because of that reason, because of that sophistication. And the reason that we have that sophistication is because of our multidisciplinary approach. So we have a former senior claims adjuster on our team. We've got a former senior construction superintendent on our team.

We have me, of course, I was a construction superintendent, and I worked in the insurance industry, uh, and so this background. Um, really provides kind of a unique understanding of how these claims actually work and how to really understand how things actually get done. Um, and I think because of that reason, because it's so unique, and it really is nothing, you know, it's not something you learn in law school, or in college, or anything like that, but it's really through these years of experience working in these industries and having this multidisciplinary team, multidisciplinary approach. That's why I think that people tend to hire our law firm to handle these more substantial claims is because they understand that really what we're bringing to the table is a difference in approach.

And so I would say that, really, at the end of the day, we're not just looking at the repair number, but we're looking at the system in order to get payment for that. repair number and understand how to work that system on behalf of our clients.
