Kelly McCann’s background

So, I'm originally from Billings, Montana, which is a city in kind of the south central part of the state of Montana. It's an agricultural hub. And then I went to college and law school in Montana, and then I went to, went to Colorado, um, where I did some post-Juris Doctor education at the University of Colorado, and then also got a master's degree in real estate where I learned about real estate finance. Um, and, and it was when I was doing that, I also met my wife, um, and her professional opportunities took her to Oregon, and so I, uh, followed her here.

And we really found out that we absolutely loved, you know, the Pacific Northwest area of the country. And so we decided to make it our home. And really how I, you know, developed, uh, into a, what's called a property recovery attorney, um, basically, uh, what I do is I get money for, from insurance companies, I get money from construction companies to repair property problems or real estate problems, is really kind of through the unique combination of my background. So, I worked in the insurance industry.

I worked as a construction superintendent between college and law school. And then I worked in the insurance industry in Colorado. And so through that experience, I really kind of developed kind of a unique skill set. in that I really could add a lot of value in these kinds of claims. And so, for that reason, it kind of became apparent that this is really, uh, something that I’m really, kind of uniquely situated at performing at a very high level.

And so that's really honestly what happened, and that's why I got into this field. And you know, as I've been doing it, you know, I love helping property owners, whether or not they'd be, you know, single family homeowners, all the way up to, you know, many multimillion dollar apartment buildings or self storage units, recover for property problems. And so it's kind of become a passion of mine as well. And, you know, I still love doing it, and I love coming to work every day.
